One of the many things I love about Bikram yoga is the consistancy of the facility, the instruction and the asana. Bikram Yoga Southwest Orland is no exception to this “rule of the road.” From the moment you enter the lobby of the studio, there is no question that you are in a strong Bikram yoga environment. The facility is clean and full of energy. The students milling about before class were friendly and talkative.

As you move deeper into the building you will notice a wonderful tile hallway leading to the locker-rooms/restrooms. About halfway down the hall is the doorway to the studio and the 105° air on the other side. The locker-rooms follow the same trend as they are spacious, clean, and well appointed.

Overall my experience at Bikram Yoga Southwest Orlando was outstanding. I left the studio feeling strong, refreshed and inspired. If you are looking for a great Bikram class to break up a business trip or Disney vacation, this is the place. This is a great place to practice!

Studio – one large sized standard Bikram studio capable of supporting 50+ students. All the classical element of Bikram certified studios in place (antimicrobial carpet floors).

Flooring – standard antimicrobial carpeted flooring.

Ammenities – 2 large locker-room facilities, very spacious and clean. Multiple showers including wheelchair accessible showers. Clean, modern restrooms. The facility also includes a wonderful meeting space for lectures and nutritional programs.

Bodywork – N/A

Childcare – childcare is available during select classes, please refer to the studio webpage for availability and times.

Boutique – no true store, however various drinks are available and mat & towel rental is also available.

Parking – plenty of parking is available in the shopping center parking lot.

Vibration – the vibe in this studio is awesome! It’s like Bikram yoga with a fantastic quality of levity. Lightness & strength combined with a great sense of humor.

College Park Yoga is a great studio offering Power yoga classes in the style of Beryl Bender Birch. College Park Yoga is located in College Park just minutes away from downtown Orlando. The studio is on Edgewater drive and is surrounded by unique cafes, eateries and interesting shops. The once dry-cleaning company, now yoga studio is a perfect example of what true vision can bring to a project. The renovation of this building and the creation of a wonderful practice space is absolutely amazing! The studio is modern and brilliant.

Although some classes are less demanding then others, this is a Power yoga studio with deep roots in the Ashtanga tradition. If you are really in the mood for a great workout check out the notorious 2 hour Sunday evening PYE class! You will leave CPY feeling empowered and energized. The teachers are very well trained and knowledgable. I definitely recommend a visit!

Parking - parking in front of the studio, beside the studio and on-street. You would never have to walk more than a block but maybe plan a couple of extra minutes just in case.

Vibe – cool, energized, hip & transformed. Strong and unapologetic. Compassionate and knowledgeable. The space is energizing. These yogis bring their A game.

Orlando Power Yoga is all about community, you can feel it as soon as you arrive. This is the way of Baptiste Power yoga studios. As a traveler, I love visiting Baptiste studios because of all the pre-class conversation. At Orlando Power Yoga you can feel that the practitioners have relationships beyond the shala. It is always so nice to see friends practicing together.

This community is growing fast! So fast that the facilities were recently forced to expand. The new space is fantastic, open and features tatame mat flooring which is hypo-allergenic and provides just the right amount of give should you happen to fall. The class I took at OPY was outstanding, the room was packed and energized.
